The German carmaker announced today that the Porsche Panamera enters production at the Leipzig plant which has undergone a 22,000 square meter expansion over the course of two years. The Porsche Panamera will be produced on the same line as the Cayenne and will enter the first European markets in September.
Porsche also announced that the factory is open to the public and any customer can get in and watch the first Porsche Panamera units exit the production line. You can also book a pilot or co-pilot program which offers you the chance to drive the Cayenne on a race track.
