VW released the first images and details of the hybrid version of the new Golf VI - the Volkswagen Golf VI TwinDrive. The Volkswagen Golf VI TwinDrive features the latest generation plug-in hybrid drive system and will begin trials in Berlin next year.
The Volkswagen Golf VI TwinDrive is supported by the German government and aims to reduce the CO2 emissions and fuel consumption and to increase long-distance mobility. The project also aims to encourage the use of electricity for short distance mobility.
