Volvo announced today that the Volvo 2.5FT engine got updated with 30 hp and 40 Nm of torque more. The five-cylinder 2.5-litre Flexifuel Volvo 2.5FT engine now develops 231 hp (170 kW) and 340 Nm of torque and has a 5 to 6 percent reduced fuel consumption, depending on the transmission.
