Fisker Coachbuild will display its fastest production car ever built at the 2007 New York International Auto Show. The 2007 Fisker Tramonto delivers an astonishing 700 horsepower and has a top speed of 205 mph. Car number 15 of 150 will be on display from April 6-15, 2007 at New York Auto Show on the Manhattan Motorcars stand.
Beneath the skin of the Tramonto is a Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, a car that's engineering excellence is a byword. The myriad Mercedes-Benz technological innovations, from the power-retractable hardtop to Active Body Control (ABC), remain untouched – as do safety systems, including crumple zones and airbags. |
| Compared to its original platform, the Tramonto is reproportioned with a shorter back end, a longer-looking hood line with a pronounced power dome, and no visual bumpers. It is crafted by hand in Italy utilizing the best quality materials with carbon-fibre and aluminum for the exterior, and luxurious Italian furniture graded leather for the interior.
Handcrafted by a dedicated AMG technician, the original 6.0 liter, 36-valve V12 delivers 604 hp and 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. For those who crave even more performance, FISKER has teamed with Kleemann to |
