 »  »  »

One of the first review videos of the 2012 Bentley Continental GT surfaced the web today. For the purpose of this clip, the 2012 Continental GT was tested on public, mountain B roads, in order to asses its agility and handling. To power the new Continental GT, Bentley uses a mighty 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo petrol engine developing a massive 567 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 1,700 rpm. Even though these are impressive figures, the weight of Bentley's 2012 Continental GT is equally impressive - 2320 kg. This means that it has a top speed of 198 mph and a 0 to 62 mph acceleration time of 4.6 seconds.

The 2012 Bentley Continental GT is equipped with a 6-speed Quickshift automatic transmission which

sends the power to all four wheels.

The 2012 Continental GT is not exactly a car for the 'green movement'. It has a combined fuel consumption of just 17.1 mpg and a 384 g/km CO2 emissions level. The price of the car, as tested, is 135,760 GBP.
