The first official photos of the 2015 Chrysler 200 leaked recently, along with a few initial details and apparently, its price. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is going to be the first mid-size sedan on the market to be equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Chrysler estimates that the new 200 (2015) will offer a fuel economy of 35 mpg thanks to this new transmission. The new Chrysler 200 (2015) is going to be available with an optional all-wheel-drive system, with an automatic fully disconnecting rear axle. This is going to help reduce the fuel consumption of the 2015 Chrysler 200 AWD. Chrysler is going sell the new 200 with a range of engines, including a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that develops 295 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 2.4-liter MultiAir Tigershark I-4 engine, which develops 184 hp and 173 lb.-ft. of torque.

Other highlights of the 2015 Chrysler 200 include electronic shifting with a rotary dial, an innovative new center console, more than 60 safety systems, and various entertainment functions. The 2015 Chrysler 200's price is going to start at $21,700 MSRP, excluding the $995 destination charge. The world debut of the 2015 Chrysler 200 is going to take place next week, at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
