GM has launched yesterday their new pickup - the new Chevrolet Montana - on the south American market. The 2011 Chevrolet Montana pickup offers a 758 kg load capacity and is powered by a 1.4-liter EcoFlex engine. When run on petrol, the 2011 Chevrolet Montana pickup develops 97 hp at 6,000 rpm and 13.2 kgf.ma of torque at 3,200 rpm and when it runs on ethanol it outputs 102 hp at 6,000 rpm and 13.5 kgf.ma of torque at 3,200 rpm. The top speed of the 2011 Chevrolet Montana is rated at 170 km/h and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time at 12.1 seconds. Later, the 2011 Chevrolet Montana will also be offered with a 1.8-liter engine, but only in Argentina.
The Chevrolet Montana also offers a loading volume of 1,180 liters and if you choose the
protective box, the volume is decreased to 1,100 liters. The new Chevrolet Montana features a specially developed suspension system, with reinforced springs and dampers, developed for carrying larger loads.
