David Brown Automotive, a newly established British company, announced they're going to reveal their first car, called Project Judi, at the Top Marques Show, in Monaco, on 17th April 2014. David Brown's Judi is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine taken off a Jaguar XKR. This means that the David Brown Judi develops 510 hp (375 kW) and 625 Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque. With so much power, David Brown believes that Judi will be able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed is going to be limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). In terms of efficiency, the David Brown Judi is rated with a combined fuel economy of 23 mpg (12.3 l/100 km) and a 292 g/km CO2 emissions level.

The engine of the David Brown Project Judi is mated to a rear-wheel-drive system via a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Apart from the powertrain, David Brown's Judi also borrows the XKR Jag' aluminum chassis. We'll have more details about David Brown's Project Judi as soon as they surface.
