Chrysler has unveiled yesterday at the Detroit auto show a new electric sports car, called the Dodge Circuit EV, which the company says it has a range of 150-200 miles. The Dodge Circuit EV is powered by a 200 kW (268 horsepower) electric motor and a lithium-ion battery system.
The Dodge Circuit EV is able to get from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, has a top speed of 120 mph and is able to run the quarter mile in 13 seconds.
The equipment list of the Dodge Circuit EV includes a premium sound system, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, speed control.
The company does not specify the amount of time needed to fully re-charge the Dodge Circuit EV from a 110-volt household outlet, but it says this time can be cut in half with a 220-volt outlet.
