Today the Lamborghini Reventon took off, literally, as it was carried by a helicopter over the city of Turin in Italy. Thanks to a cooperation between the Marina Militare Italiana (the Italian marines) and Lamborghini the Reventon was flown on the rooftop of the Lingotto building where the Italian manufacturer held a special conference called Lamborghini and speed – a project in record time.
The conference explored the extraordinary timescales and design and production abilities demonstrated by Lamborghini in producing the 1 million Euros Reventon. The conference was attended by local, international and academic VIPs including representatives from the automotive industry.
Lambo's conference, where the Lamborghini Reventon caught air, was part of the “Turin 2008 – World Design Capital” program of events.
