At the beginning of the month BMW announced that the new MIN SAV will be built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Various sources reported today the its name is going to be MINI Crossman. The MINI Crossman will be launched in 2010 and is expected to come with all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive.
By using Magna Steyr for the production of the MINI Crossman, they able to give their production network some breathing space to respond fully to market needs. This solution will also allow MINI to bring the MINI Crossman to the market as quickly as possible.
