According to various British sources, BMW's new crossover, the Mini Countryman, is expected to also be made available as a 2-door coupe. The 2dr Mini Countryman Coupe will not see the light of day anytime soon as it's currently in a design phase. Why a 4x4 coupe? BMW has registered a huge success with the X6, so it's only natural that they will try to gain some profit with a Mini Countryman Coupe. The general market trend indicates that 4x4 coupe's are entering more and more in the spotlight. Let's not forget the newly revealed Range Rover Evoque.

The Mini Countryman Coupe will probably have the same engine range as the 5-door model, with petrol and diesel units alike. It's not sure at the moment whether or not the

Mini Countryman Coupe will also be made available with two-wheel-drive as well as the All4 all-wheel-drive system. Expect to see the same versions of the Mini Countryman Coupe as you see on other Mini models. This means there will be a D and an S too.

The Mini Countryman Coupe price is expected to starts at around 24,000 EUR when it will the market in the following years.
