The first rumors of an open-top version of the Murano started appearing sometime ago, and today the Japanese carmaker has confirmed the model's existence. The open-top Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will have it world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 17th, 2010. The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will be a convertible / cabriolet crossover that aims to redefine the traditional type of vehicle.

With the new Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet, the Japanese company wants to show yet again its levels of design know-how, technology and innovation.

The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will be the world's first convertible all-wheel drive

crossover. The new cabrio 4x4 wants to offer the versatility of a small SUV combined with the open-air exhilaration of a cabrio.

The company says the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet will offer enough room for four adults, space for golf bags or luggage (even with the top down). About the top, they didn’t mention this, but we guess it will be a soft one.

Another detail released by the manufacturer about the new Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet says it will offer the same high levels of interior quality as the current version.

The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet price has not been announced yet, obviously, but the carmaker says it will put it on sale as soon as the starts of 2011.
