Porsche Design and Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) revealed today their new P'9981 BlackBerry Smartphone. This is the first cellular designed by Porsche, which aims to put a bit of its performance in BlackBerry mobile phones. The new Porsche BlackBerry Smartphone is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, and it's encased in a forged stainless steel frame with a hand-wrapped leather back cover. Its touch screen promises a crystal clear view. Porsche's P'9981 BlackBerry is shipped with a specially designed user interface, and a bespoke Wikitude World Browser.

- 1.2 GHz processor;
- HD video recording;

- 24-bit high resolution graphics;
- Augmented reality applications;
- 8GB of on-board memory, expandable up to 40GB with a micro SD card;
- BlackBerry 7 operating system;
- Liquid Graphics technology;
- The Porsche NFC (Near Field Communications).
