Volkswagen Jetta Racer Dream and Helios Tribute

Volkswagen presented at the 2013 SEMA show two modified versions of the Jetta, called the Racer's Dream and Helios Tribute special edition. The Volkswagen Jetta Racer's Dream was developed by FMS Automotive. It is powered by the 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged engine, that has been upgraded and it now develops 400 hp. To further increase the output of the Jetta Racer's Dream to 425 hp, they installed an APR Stage 3+ Turbo Kit. Other APR parts used for upgrading the Racer's Dream Jetta include rods, wristpins, performance pistons, and a carbon fiber cold air intake system with an intercooler. Volkswagen Racer's Dream Jetta is also equipped with an H&R Street coil-over suspension and anti-roll bars, 19-inch TSW Jerez wheels, Nitto NT-05 Z-rated tires, and Brembo brakes.

As far as the styling of the VW Racer's Dream Jetta goes, FMS Automotive gave the German sedan a Golf R front fascia, a custom front splitter, 2-inch wider fenders, and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. There's also a dual-exit exhaust system, and a two-tone while and gloss black exterior finish. For the interior of the Racer's Dream Jetta they used Recaro Sportster CS sport seats, LED lighting, a full RNS 315 navigation system with rearview camera, a custom sound box and digital sound processer, aluminum pedals, an ECS Tuning integrated digital vent gauge and a Corinthian Textile Solutions custom trunk liner.



The Helios Volkswagen Jetta Tribute was built by FMS Automotive to celebrate the 1989 Helios Special Edition Jetta GLI. The Helios VW Jetta Tribute comes with a blue and black exterior finish, a new body kit, Golf R brake calipers, 19-inch alloys, a and custom exhaust system. At the interior, the Helios Jetta Tribute features the same color scheme as the exterior. The car features various "Helios" emblems and logos.
