The eRUF Stormster Porsche Cayenne revealed today is the second electric Porsche to come out of the German tuning house. The first one was the 911 based Greenster which was premiered at the Geneva Motor Show, in March 2009. The eRUF Stormster Porsche Cayenne is powered by a Siemens electric motor that develops 270 kW (367 bhp). The SUV weighs 2,670 kg, batteries included. The eRUF Stormster Porsche Cayenne is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds and has a top speed of 150 km/h. The tuner says the car has a range of 200 km/h on a completely charged battery.

The eRUF Stormster Porsche Cayenne is fitted with lithium ion accumulators from Li-Tec Battery GmbH that use ceramic storage technology.

The eRUF Stormster Porsche Cayenne sits on 5 spoke lightweight wheels and Hankook specially developed tires. The car also has a distinctive aerodynamics package.
