The future generation 2015 Hyundai Sonata was recently caught on our spy camera as it was testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife track in Germany. The Hyundai Sonata (2015) prototype is heavily camouflaged so we can't really say much about its exterior design. However, we did learn that the 2015 Sonata is going to be powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that develops 201 hp and 264 Nm of torque. Even though it has a smaller displacement, this new engine is more powerful the current Sonata's powertrain, which develops 198 bhp and 259 Nm of torque. Apart from being more powerful, this new engine will offer the future Hyundai Sonata (2015) an improved fuel economy and a lower fuel consumption.
