BMW announced a new model for the European market: the 2008 BMW X3 2.0d. The 2008 BMW X3 2.0d will have a 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel engine and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2008 BMW X3 2.0d will have 177hp (130kW) and 350Nm of torque. BMW X3 2.0d is alternatively available with a six-speed manual transmission and also with six-speed automatic transmission with optimized switching dynamics.

BMW X3 2.0d average fuel consumption amounts to only 6.5 liters per 100 of kilometers. The 200 kW/272 HP strong BMW X3 3.0si consumption now amounts to 9,5 liters per 100 kilometer.

The 2008 BMW X3 2.0d has 20hp more than its predecessor but has 10% lower consumption.

The 2008 BMW X3 2.0d is equipped with intelligent all wheel system BMW xDrive. Its full aluminum four-cylinder Diesel engine is equipped with a third generation Common Rail injection system. The fuel is precisely proportioned by Piezo injectors and injected with a 1,800 bar pressure into the combustion chambers.



The 2008 BMW X3 2.0d carbon-dioxide emission levels register 172g/km.
