The Brits from Car Magazine managed to get their hands on some new 2010 Audi A7 details. The 2010 Audi A7 is based on the next generation Audi A6 that will fall on the same market segment as the Mercedes CLS - a four-door coupe. The 2010 Audi A7 will more expensive than the A6 and will not be aimed at the average customer. It will be less practical, but more eye-catching than the A6. The 2010 Audi A7 will be offered with only four seats and will share the steel-reinforced aluminum platform of the A6.
As far as the engine options go, the 2010 Audi A7 will offer a range of gasoline and diesel units. Most sources also believe that Ingolstadt will also offer a hybrid version of the new model sometime in the future.
The 2010 Audi A7 will be available with 2.8-liter V6 FSI, a 3.0 V6, a 4.2 V8 and two diesels - 2.7 V6 and 3.0 V6.
The premiere of the 2010 Audi A7 is expected to take place in the summer, before the launch of the next generation A6.
