Kia has released today a 2010 Kia Sorento teaser image. The 2010 Kia Sorento will offer a new exterior and interior design and new, more fuel efficient, engines. One of the new engines available on the 2010 Kia Sorento will be a 2-liter diesel developed in collaboration with Hyundai.
The 2010 Kia Sorento will also be available with a 2.2-liter R-engine, which is Euro 5 compliant, and develops 200 hp and around 430 Nm of torque. This version of the 2010 Kia Sorento will be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission and is expected to offer a fuel economy of 20 mpg.
The company also mentioned three other engines that will be available for the new 2010 Kia Sorento - 2.4-liter 4-cylinder (Theta II) engine, 3.8-liter 6-cylinder (Lambda) and a 2.7-liter LPI (Liquefied Petroleum Injection) engine.
More details on the new 2010 Kia Sorento will be released closer to the model's debut.
