Lately, most of the long wheelbase versions had their debut in China. This is also the case of the long wheelbase 2011 Audi A8L which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show next month. There are not many technical details of the 2011 Audi A8L available yet.
The 2011 Audi A8L might get its horses from the 4.2 FSI V8 petrol engine that develops 372 hp and 445 Nm of torque and is coupled with the 8-speed tiptronic transmission. Because of the added weight, the performance numbers may suffer. This means the 2011 Audi A8L will have slightly less appealing figures than 5.7 seconds to 100 km/h. The top speed however, will remain at an electronically limited 250 km/h. It's not known yet whether or not the German company will also
offer the 2011 Audi A8L hybrid version.
