Lola Cars International Ltd. has unveiled today the new 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe B11/80 and released the first 3D renderings of the new version. The 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe B11/80 will be offered by the company for the 2011 season of the ALMS, LMS and Le Mans 24 Hours competitions. The B11/80 long wheelbase configuration has been chosen for the 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe in order for it to accommodate production GT engines from BMW, Ford, HPD, Jaguar, Judd, Nissan and Toyota. The engineers had to make the wheelbase of the 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe longer because some of the current GT race engines required it.

The 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe has additional safety and comfort thanks to its cabin. Both the B10/80 and B11/80 versions will be made from carbon

fiber and the company announces that the 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe price will remain the same as for the current, 2010, version.

The customer teams of the 2011 Lola LMP2 Coupe will be offered access to the Lola customer support center which includes full aero maps, trackside spares supply in the LMS and Le Mans 24 Hours, access to engineers, 7-post test rig and wind tunnel model use.
