Subaru announced today the 2012 Impreza price list for the U.S. market, where the new generation of the model will arrive in dealerships from November 2011. The 4-door sedan version of the 2012 Subaru Impreza will be powered by the 2.0i engine coupled with the five-speed manual transmission. The 2012 Impreza sedan will also be available with the continuously variable transmission (CVT) transmission. The 5-door hatchback version of the 2012 Impreza will offer the same powertrain options as the sedan model.
Subaru will sell the 2012 Impreza in the following trim levels: 0i Premium, Sport Premium and Limited.
The 2012 Subaru Impreza price list for the 4-door sedan model starts at $17,495 USD for the manual version and at $18,495 USD for the CVT equipped model. The 5-door version of the 2012 Impreza is priced from $17,995 USD (manual) and $18,995 USD (CVT).
The 2012 Subaru Impreza will be sold with a diesel engine too. The diesel version of the 2012 Impreza has the 2.0-liter BOXER engine, which develops 148 hp and is able to offer a fuel economy of up to 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. Subaru claims that the 2012 Impreza boxer
diesel, when equipped with the equipped with the new Lineartronic CVT transmission, is the most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive car in America. The price of the 2012 Impreza diesel will be announced at a later date.
