The 2013 Infiniti IPL G Convertible had its world premiere at this year's LA auto Show, and it will soon go on sale. With the 2013 IPL version of the G Convertible what you see is what you get. Infiniti is not offering any optional extras for it and the car comes fully equipped. The 2013 Infiniti IPL G Convertible price has not been announced yet, but we expect it to be quite higher than the one of regular G.
In comparison to the standard G Convertible, the 2013 IPL comes with new aerodynamics, especially tuned V6 engine, exhaust, suspension, and 19-inch alloys. At the interior, the IPL Convertible features a leather upholstery.
To power the new 2013 IPL G Convertible, Infiniti uses VQ37VHR 3.7-liter V6 engine, with a re-mapped ECU, which outputs 343 hp at 7,400 rpm and 273lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. This is 18 hp and 6 lb-ft more than the regular model. Thanks to a new exhaust system with double pipes, the pressure has been reduced by 30%.
The 2013 Infiniti IPL G Convertible is equipped with an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic gearbox, with Downshift Rev Matching, quick-shift Drive Sport (DS) mode and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). It also features steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
The suspension of the 2013 IPL Convertible has been modified. The front spring rates are increased by 14% and the rear ones by 6%. The IPL G Convertible's rear stabilizer spring rates are increased by 125%. The car comes with the new HF-type shocks. Infiniti's 2013 IPL G Convertible sits on 19-inch alloys and comes equipped with more powerful brakes than the base model.
