The 2013 Infiniti JX had its word premiere at the 2011 Los Angeles auto show, and it will go on sale in the spring of 2012. Infiniti's new JX comes with a refreshed exterior design, with new headlights, front grille and bumper and new rear-end styling. The styling of the 2013 JX is influenced by Infiniti's new design language initiated by the Essence concept. Infiniti's new 7-seat luxury crossover promises three rows of seats and plenty of luggage space.

Infiniti took special care in offering the 2013 JX the best aerodynamics efficiency possible. The new JX has an aerodynamics coefficient of Cd 0.34, which manages to reduce its fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The 2013 JX is equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon headlights, LED taillights, rain sensors, power folding heated side mirrors, UV-reducing solar glass and a sun roof.

At the interior, the 2013 Infiniti JX features the new Intelligent-View display, Fine Vision electroluminescent gauges and a 7-inch color display as standard. For entertainment purposes, Infiniti's 2013 JX comes equipped with a 15-speaker BoseĀ® Cabin Surround sound system with Acoustic Waveguide bass technology, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and various other features.

The 2013 Infiniti JX will be available in two versions: with front-wheel-drive and with an Intelligent AWD all-wheel-drive system. To power the 2013 JX, Infiniti uses a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, which outputs 265 hp at 6,400 rpm and 248 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. The Infiniti JX 2013 comes with a sport-tuned Continuously Variable Transmission, which can be used in the Standard, Sport, Eco and Snow modes.

One of the highlights of the 2013 Infiniti JX is its world's first Backup Collision Intervention
system, which works together with the Blind Spot Intervention (BSI) system. Other safety features of the Infiniti JX 2013 include Around View Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Distance Control Assist (DCA), and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW).

The 2013 Infiniti JX price list starts at $40,450 USD for the FWD model and at $41,550 for the AWD model. Infiniti's full price list for the 2013 JX is available here.
