Infiniti released today two teaser images of a new electric sports car concept, which will be premiered at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. So far, the company did not disclose the name of their new electric sports car, but we'll find out in March next year. Infiniti says that their new concept is meant to expand the brand's potential for high performance, low emission electric cars.
Infiniti already has hybrid and clean diesel models on sale, and is preparing to start marketing an electric sedan. At this point, an electric sports car seems a natural progression. Exactly how sporty this new car will be, only time will tell.
Judging from these two renderings, we have to say that Infiniti's new electric sports car concept will have quite some dramatic styling lines. We'll find out more about it in the following months.
