Don't you just love it when car manufacturers release an image of an obscure part of a new concept, and they even forget to mention its name? Infiniti seems to love this idea. They released today this image showing a section of their future "Sports Car Concept". The new vehicle will have its world debut at the 2012 Geneva auto show in March. The new Infiniti Sports Car Concept promises to offer low emissions and high performance thanks to a new range extended electric powertrain. This basically means it will have an electric motor, juiced with the help of an internal combustion engine. Infiniti's new Sports Car Concept will be able to function on electricity only during urban driving.
The Infiniti Sports Car Concept will have a mid-engine architecture, and probably rear-wheel-drive. It promises excellent handling thanks to a well-balanced weight distribution.
