Just a day after the word came out about Infiniti trademarking the JX model range, the company has released on its official website a new teaser image. We could very well speculate that this is a Infiniti JX teaser image. The foggy silhouette shown in the teaser photos definitely has the lines of a coupe. Judging by the company's naming scheme, the Infiniti JX will probably be some kind of crossover or SUV. If we put the two together, we get a BMW X6 competitor. Of course, these are all speculations at the moment.
The facts are: the Japanese brand has released the teaser image of a coupe, and various sources revealed that it also registered the Infiniti JX trademark. They could be two totally different vehicles, or one and the same.
As for the Infiniti JX trademark, the company has registered the JX20, JX25, JX25h and JX30 variations, from which we can speculate on the engines of the new model. The Infiniti JX will have a 2.0-liter and a 2.5-liter petrol engines, a 3.0-liter diesel and a hybrid version.
