Nissan revealed at this year's IAA in Frankfurt the new generation 2014 Rogue (U.S.), which is known as the X-Trail on the British and other markets. The 2014 Nissan Rogue / X-Trail comes with a fresh new exterior and interior design, innovative technology, and updated engines. The 2014 Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover utility vehicle, which will go on sale in the United States this November. The new Nissan Rogue (2014) comes with LED headlights and DRLs, a power panoramic moonroof and a power rear liftgate. Nissan's 2014 Rogue offers the choice of a 3-row of seats (7-passengers), the Divide'n Hide Cargo System that provides 18 adjustable variations, the EZ Flex Seating System with reclining 40/20/40-split 2nd row seat, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The 2014 Rogue is going to be available with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that's good for 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an advanced Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Nissan equips the new Rogue (2014) with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), an All-Wheel Drive system or a FWD one, Active Trace Control, Active Engine Braking and Active Ride Control. The 2014 Nissan Rogue promises to offer 33 mpg on the highway (FWD version).

The Rogue's European cousin, the 2014 Nissan X-Trail comes with a few differences. For starters, the 2014 X-Trail is equipped with Nissan's advanced electronic four-wheel drive system, ALL MODE 4x4i. It's also equipped with Uphill Start Support and Advance Hill Descent Control.
At the interior, the new X-Trail (2014) features the NissanConnect in-car navigation system, Smartphone connectivity, Google maps, Bluetooth / Aux-in / USB connectivity and a 5-inch TFT color display. The equipment list of the new Nissan X-Trail (2014) includes 19-inch alloys, and a leather upholstery. The 2014 Nissan X-Trail's price list has not been announced yet.
