Nissan announced today that the new 2009 Nissan Rogue has received the 2008 IIHS Top Safety Pick award. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) tested the 2009 Nissan Rogue's front, side and rear crash protection.
The safety equipment of the 2009 Nissan Rogue includes the Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant classification sensor, curtain air bags, a Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and driver/passenger seat belt warning lamps.
The 2009 Nissan Rogue is also equipped with brand’s electronic stability control system, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).
