In the 4th episode of the 17th season of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson puts against each other, two of the latest supercars: the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S and the 2012 Nissan GT-R facelift. The GT-R and the Jag are not the most obvious competitors, but if you take a closer look, you'll see various similarities between the two coupes. the most important difference between the two supercars is the fact that the 2012 XKR-S is rear-wheel-drive while the GT-R facelift has a very intelligent all-wheel-drive system.

The Nissan GT-R Facelift is powered by a 530 PS and 612 Nm of torque V6 turbocharged engine, which can accelerate it from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3 seconds. The Jag is far from this performance, however, Mr. Clarkson still puts it against Nissan's Godzilla.

The 2012 Jaguar XKR-S is powered by a larger and more powerful V8 engine, good for 550PS and 680Nm of torque. Jaguar's specifications say that the 2012 XKR-S is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds and that it has a top speed of 186mph (300km/h).
