Believe it or not, the supercar you see in these photos is actually based on a Nissan GT-R. Called the TGI, the supercar was developed Saudi Arabia's Team Galag, which is using it for competing in this year’s Gumball 3000 race. The Galag TG1 Nissan GT-R was developed in collaboration with Parker Brothers Concepts from the United States. So far, Team Galag did not disclose a lot of technical details regarding the TG1 GT-R. Apparently, the Galag TG1 has a carbon fiber body, which greatly reduces the vehicle's overall weight. This means more performance and efficiency. The engine of the Galag TG1 was developed by Litchfield Motors from the United Kingdome. They increased the output of the GT-R's standard V6 engine to 750 hp and 950 Nm of torque.

With the extra horsepower, the Galag TG1 Nissan GT-R is able to rocket from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under 2.7 seconds. Its top speed is rated at 211 mph (340 km/h).

We'll have more details regarding the TG1 Nissan GT-R as soon as Team Galag makes them available.
