Switzer revealed today a road legal 1,000 hp Nissan GT-R that you can use everyday. Called the Ultimate Street Edition, or USE, Switzer's new GT-R is based on the standard R35, which receives several modifications. Even though the Switzer Nissan GT-R USE is rated with an output of 1,000 hp at the wheel, the aftermarket specialists says it can be driven comfortably in bumper-to-bumper traffic. It has a reasonably quiet exhaust and a reliable air conditioning system. For the USE GT-R, Switzer replaces the pistons, pins, rings, connecting rods, and the camshafts. The only thing left of the VR38DETT's 3.8L engine is the block. Apart from the extensive engine modifications, the Switzer GT-R USE comes with two liquid-cooled turbos with bespoke billet compressor wheels, MONSTER intercoolers, and a special front-mounted radiator.

Since this is an everyday car, its exhaust system has to be decent one the road, but sound like a Le Mans one on the track. Switzer says they manage to accomplish this with the USE GT-R. The Switzer Nissan GT-R USE sits on the standard electronically adjustable dampers, but it features custom lowering springs. The Nissan GT-R USE also features a Shepherd Transmissions gearbox, which can handle the car's torque and at the same time it can cope with the ride back home.

The Switzer Nissan GT-R USE's price has not been disclosed.
