Nissan revealed today a special edition version of the GT-R, which is called the Midnight Opal. The 2014 Nissan GT-R Midnight Opal package sits above the Premium Edition and it includes quite a few interesting options. The new 2014 GT-R special edition is finished in Midnight Opal. Each vehicle is going to be pained manually. The 2014 GT-R Midnight Opal comes with a set of RAYS forged lightweight wheels finished in hyper-titanium, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and a gold-plated serialized plaque in the engine compartment. The Midnight Opal version of the new GT-R (2014) is powered by the same VR38DETT 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine which sends 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. The 2014 Nissan GT-R is equipped with independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system and a Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC-R) system.

For the interior of the 2014 GT-R Midnight Opal, Nissan is offering bucket seats, a multi-function display, an on-board driving recorder and a Bose sound system with 11-speakers.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R's price is set at $105,590 USD, and the Midnight Opal package is going to cost you an additional $6,000 USD over the Premium model's MSRP. Nissan is going to sell 50 units of the 2014 GT-R, which will go on sale this September.
