The new generation 2017 Nissan GT-R had its world debut today at the 2016 NY Auto Show. Nissan revealed today Godzilla's full specifications and its complete equipment list. According to the official specifications, the 3.8-liter V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged engine of the 2017 Nissan GT-R develops 565 hp at 6,800 rpm and 467 lb.-ft. (637Nm) of torque between 3,300 rpm and 5,800 rpm. The engine continues to be mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. Unfortunately, Nissan did not disclose at this time the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of the 2017 GT-R, nor its top speed. The 2017 GT-R comes with an updated interior and exterior design. Nissan says the new GT-R (2017) is more stable at high speeds than its predecessor.

At the interior, the 2017 Nissan GT-R comes with a completely new dashboard, a Nappa leather upholstery, an 8-inch capacitive touch-panel monitor and a new Display Command control on the carbon-fiber center console. Nissan also reduced the number of control from 27 to just 11.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R promises superior acceleration in the mid- to high-ranges (3200 rpm and above). Its equipment list now includes lightweight titanium exhaust system, Active Sound Enhancement (ASE), a new suspension and 20-inch alloys. The Japanese supercar comes with a more rigid body structure which offers better stability through quick lateral transitions and higher overall cornering speeds.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R's price has not been announced yet. Depending on the market, the new GT-R (2017) will go on sale this summer or in the fall.
