Nissan announced yesterday an increase of the 2009 Nissan GT-R price from $76,840 to $79,090 with destination and handling cost being $1,000. The 2009 Nissan GT-R price increased is caused by increased raw materials costs.

The adjusted price does not affect the cars ordered before September 5, 2008.

The 2009 Nissan GT-R is powered by the 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine that outputs 480 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled with a paddle-shifted, dual clutch rear transmission and an independent rear transaxle ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system.
