Recently a new video surfaced the web showing a race between the Lexus LFA and its main rivals, the Japanese Nissan GT-R, the American Corvette ZR1 and the European Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The battle takes place on the Fuji track and it also features a Ferrari F430 race car. The focus of this clip however, is the four production supercars.
The Lexus LFA is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine with an output of 552 bhp at 8,700 rpm and 480 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. The LFA is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds. The 2012 Nissan GT-R facelift is powered by a 530 PS and 612 Nm of torque engine and is capable of rocketing from 0 to 62 mph in just 3 seconds.
Chevy's crown jewel, the Corvette ZR1, is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 LS9 engine delivering 647 hp and 819 Nm torque. The ZR1's official 0-62 mph (100 km/h) acceleration time of 3.6 seconds. Finally, Porsche's maddest model, the 911 GT2 RS, is powered by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine with an output of 620 hp. It's 0-62 mph sprint time is 3.5 seconds.
