The initial info on the Lexus LFA II surfaced recently coming from our Japanese sources. The Best Car magazine reports that Lexus is currently working on developing the successor of the LFA. Internally known as the LFA II, the future model will have even more supercar DNA than the current version. This means that it will also have a much higher price tag.
The Lexus LFA II rumor comes almost at the same time with the rumor that Nissan is working on a new version of the GT-R, together with a high-performance SpecV model. It looks like Japanese car manufacturers do not allow themselves to be affected by the recent natural disaster that struck their country.
The major improvements brought by the Lexus LFA II will be in the power output department. Making it lighter is not an option since the current Lexus LFA is already made almost entirely out of carbon fiber. To keep it exclusive, Lexus will build the LFA II in very limited numbers.
