The update, 2012 Nissan GT-R facelift has been around for a few months now, but this is the first chance we get to see it going head to head in a drag race against the previous, 2011 version. When we first received the details of the 2012 Nissan GT-R, the new version did not seem like a major upgrade over the previous model. However, after watching this video, the 2012 Nissan GT-R seems to be light years ahead of the 2011 model.
The 2012 Nissan GT-R is powered by the same engine as the 2011, but with a higher output of 530PS and 612Nm of torque. This result in a 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of only 3 seconds. Apart from the increased performance, the 2012 GT-r also comes with a few styling
updates, including LED daytime running lights. The 2012 Nissan GT-R price for the UK market starts at 69,950 GBP.
