Audi revealed recently the second generation of their flagship SUV, the Q7. The Ingolstadt car manufacturer revealed the engine line-up, the full specs and the equipment list of the new 2015 Audi Q7. We'll have to wait a bit longer for its price list though. One of the key changes brought by the new Audi Q7 (2015) is a massive weight loss of 716.5 lb (325 kg). This means that the 2015 version of the Audi Q7 is a full 29% lighter than its predecessor. This translates into impressive gains in fuel efficiency and a serious CO2 emissions level drop. The 2015 Audi 3.0 TDI, which is one of the most popular versions of the SUV, weighs just 1,995 kilograms (4,398.2 lb). At launch, Audi's 2015 Q7 is going to be sold with a choice between two engines.

The 2015 Q7 3.0 TDI develops 200 kW (272 hp) and the 3.0 TFSI puts out 245 kW (333 hp). The TDI Q7 needs 6.3 seconds to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h), while the TFSI can do it in just 6.1 seconds. Audi is going to sell the new Q7 (2015) in two configurations: with 5 seats and with seven seats.

According to Audi's official specs, these are the efficiency figures of the 2015 Q7:
