The 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S had its world debut today during the opening day of the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit. The new generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (2016) is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 biturbo engine that puts out 570 hp (419 kW) and 800 Nm (590 ft lb) of torque. This is 20 hp and 50 Nm (36.8 ft lb) of torque more than its predecessor. With this powertrain, the new 2016 Cayenne Turbo S is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, which is 0.4 second faster than the previous version of the luxury SUV. According to the official specifications, the new Cayenne Turbo S (2016) is able to reach a top speed of 176 mph (284 km/h). According to Porsche, the 2016 Cayenne Turbo S managed to lap the Nurburgring in 7:59.74 minutes.

The 2016 Cayenne Turbo S comes with a retuned chassis, and integral turbochargers housed directly in the exhaust manifolds.

The equipment list of the 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S includes ceramic brakes (PCCB) with 420 mm discs at the front and 10-piston calipers, and 370 mm at the rear with 4-piston calipers. The 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is also fitted with active roll stabilization, the Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) system, Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and Traction Management (PTM).



Porsche also equips the 2016 Cayenne Turbo S with 21-inch alloys, LED headlights with Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus), a leather interior, and an optional sport exhaust system.

The 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S' price list starts at 166,696 Euro including VAT. The new version of the SUV will go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
