The ATS 2500 GT is a new Italian supercar with a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture. It measures 4.25 m in length, 1.90 m in width, 1.15 m in height and it has a wheelbase of 2.44 m. The official specifications of the ATS 2500 GT say it weighs 980 kg and that it has a power-to-weight ratio of 510 hp per ton. This means that its 2.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine develops 500 hp, which is quite a lot for its size. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, and a limited slip differential. With so much power, the ATS 2500 GT is able to get from nought to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds and to reach a top speed of more than 300 km/h.
The ATS 2500 GT is built on a tubular chassis frame with an integrated roll cage and it features carbon fiber body panels. It sits on an independent suspension on all four corners and it's equipped with 12-piston calipers with 380mm discs at the front and 355mm ones at the rear.
The ATS 2500 GT is a successor of the ATS GT from the 1960's. It's going to be built in 12 units only, but its price has not been disclosed yet.
