Wimmer RS revealed today the revised version of their KTM X-Bow GT. First revealed back in 2014, Wimmer's GT is a modified version of the popular track car developed by the bike manufacturers from KTM. Wimmer promises that their KTM X-Bow GT offers more comfort than the standard version of the car, as well as better wind protection thanks to the new door and windshield design. They say you can drive the KTM X-Bow GT without a helmet. The Wimmer KTM X-Bow GT comes with a windshield made of laminated safety glass, a single arm wiper, and side windows. The Wimmer KTM X-Bow GT is powered by the same Audi-sourced 2.0-liter TFSI engine as the standard version of the car. This means it puts out 300 hp and 420 Nm of torque at 3.200 rpm. Thanks to a weight of just 847 kg (1867 lbs.), this tiny little car is capable of offering some serious performance.

According to Wimmer, the KTM X-Bow GT is able to pull up to 2.0 G during cornering. It is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds.

Thanks to a new front splitter, a flat three-part racing sports underbody, and a new rear diffuser, the 2016 Wimmer RS KTM X-Bow GT is able to generate as much as 200 kg of downforce at 200 km/h.

The 2016 Wimmer RS KTM X-Bow GT comes equipped with an adjustable push-rod suspension system, Brembo brakes, 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and carbon fiber roll-over bars. The 2016 KTM X-Bow GT's price is set at 79,000.00 Euro.
