KTM X BOW R Revealed

KTM revealed today their latest X-BOW model - the performance oriented R version. KTM announced the R version of the X-BOW back in September last year, but today we get the first complete view of the Audi S3 powered track car. The KTM X-BOW R is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI engine developing 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Taking into account the fact that it weighs only 790 kg, we can safely say that the X-BOW R is a small rocket for the track.

Apart from the increased power output, KTM also made a few other significant changes to improve the handling of the X-BOW R. For starters, its engine sits 19 millimeters lower which results in a 15 mm lowered center of gravity. This should improve the cornering capabilities of the X-BOW R.

The suspension of the KTM X-BOW R was also revised in order to perform well under higher Gs. The car's full specs are available lower down this page.

KTM prices the X-BOW R from 58,795 EUR. the exact date when the new model will go on sale was not mentioned.
