KTM, the famous bike manufacturer and the creators of the X-Bow, announced recently a special edition of their open-top track car, called the Stratosferica. The KTM Stratosferica, as its name implies, is inspired by the Lancia Stratos, which is a true rally legend. KTM's Stratosferica is based on the X-Bow, which has received a closed cockpit and a two-wheel-drive (2WD) system. The Stratosferica has a unique exterior design, without any A-pillars, which aims to bring back all the emotions stirred by the original Stratos. KTM says that the Stratosferica has a carbon fiber chassis, which offers a "nice" ride, and good handling.
Unfortunately, KTM did not disclose any other further details regarding the Stratosferica.
We can assume that the Stratosferica is powered by the same 2.0 liter turbocharged engine as the X-Bow. This engine is in fact, taken of an Audi TT, and outputs around 240 hp.
