We first saw the front of the production version of the Aston Martin Rapide back in November when Car Magazine published the first official image. Today the company has released a second image of the new model showing the Aston Martin Rapide rear end. The Aston Martin Rapide is a four-door four seater that will probably rival the new Porsche Panamera. This new image shows that the Aston Martin Rapide will have a glass roof and a rear end design similar to the one of the Vantage.
As far as the engine goes, some sources believe the Aston Martin Rapide will house a revised version of the 6.0 liter engine under the bonnet.
The concept on which the Aston Martin Rapide is based was unveiled for the first time in 2006 at the Detroit Auto Show.
With the Panamera already out in the open, there will probably be just a few months before the British brand will fully unveil the production version of the Aston Martin Rapide.
