Aston Martin revealed today the full specifications of the new Vantage GT, which is going to have its world debut today at the 2014 NY auto show. The Aston Martin Vantage GT is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that develops 430bhp at 7,300rpm. With this engine, the Aston Vantage GT is able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and to reach a top speed of 190 mph. The engine of the Vantage GT can be mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed Sportshift II automated manual transmission. Aston Martin is going to sell the Vantage GT both as a coupe and a roadster. To get more power out of the V8 engine of the Vantage GT, Aston Martin equipped the new model with a valved air intake system and an aggressive spark strategy.

The quad overhead cam, dry-sumped V8 engine is complemented by a sports exhaust system, racing aerodynamics, high-performance brakes, a sports suspension, and a quick-ratio steering rack.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT's distinctive styling elements include graphite diamond-turned alloy wheels, black headlight bezels, side window surrounds and textured tailpipes. For the interior of the Vantage GT, Aston Martin chose machined carbon sill plaques, black magnesium paddle-shifts or carbon fiber gearshift surround; satin chrome rotaries; a leather (or Alcantara) steering wheel with contrasting on-center stitch feature; seat and door inserts in technical PlisseAlcantara and unique seat trim patterns.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT's price is set at $99,900 RRP. Its first deliveries will begin in quarter three.
