Aston Martin has released today the first official video showing the new Vantage S in action on the Ascari race track. Revealed back in January, the Aston Martin Vantage S will soon go on sale offering improved dynamics and a more driver focused experience. The Aston Martin Vantage S hides under its hood a 4.7-liter V8 engine with a power output of 430 bhp at 7,300 rpm and 490 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The top speed was announced as being 189 mph (305 km/h), but Aston did not disclose yet the time the Vantage S needs to get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph).
With a front-mid engine, RWD architecture and a 7-speed Sportshift II transmission, the new Vantage S promises to deliver a better driving
experience in comparison to the regular model. We'll just have to wait and see if Aston Martin did improve on the base model or not.
