The first sketch and information on the Audi A7 surfaced back at the end of October. Today the Detroit Free Press announced that the Audi A7 concept debuts at the next NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in January in Detroit. The Audi A7 is expected to preview a production four-door coupe model that will share the market with the Mercedes CLS. The new Audi A7 might hit the market sometime next year as a 2010 model.

Alongside the Audi A7 the company will also premiere the new Audi R8 V10 that outputs 525PS and 530Nm of torque from a 5.2 liter engine.

The Audi A7 and R8 V10 world premieres will be joined on the stand in Detroit by the Audi Q5, the TTS coupe and roadster and a new version of the A6 powered by a 300 hp supercharged engine.

More details on the Audi A7 will follow as the German company makes it official.
