Audi TT Black Edition

The Audi TT Black Edition, which is available both as a coupe and a roadster, was launched today on the British market. Even though the 'Black Edition' moniker could suggest extra performance, this is not the case. However, the Audi TT Black comes with quite a few interesting styling elements. For starters, it features the same fixed rear spoiler as the TT RS, 19-inch alloys, and black exterior styling elements. This special edition model can be equipped with the optional Amplified Black specification package. This pack includes a black-finished front lip spoiler, distinctive door mirror casings, a rear diffuser and black exhaust tailpipes. The Audi TT Black Edition offers a choice between four metallic or pearl effect colors, including Glacier White, Misano Red, Daytona Grey and Samoa Orange.

The equipment list of the Audi TT Black Edition includes tinted rear glass, xenon headlights, LED DRLS, a leather and Alcantara upholstery, a BOSE surround system, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity and rear acoustic parking. The Audi TT Black can be ordered with one of these engines: 2.0 TFSI petrol with 211PS (FWD/quattro AWD) and 2.0 TDI with 170PS (quattro AWD). The TT Black's price starts at £31,365 OTR for the 2.0 TFSI Coupe with the 6-speed manual transmission. The top of the range TT Black 2.0 TFSI quattro Roadster with the 6-speed S tronic transmission is going to cost you at least £36,360 OTR.
